Moulin de la Brague Herbs de Provence in a Crock Jar
Nothing quite speaks the flavors of Provence as much
as Herbes de Provence. Traditionally a dry melange of
different herbs, it is used in everyday cooking in Provence
and adds just the right amount of flavor of the region
to dishes. Throughout Provence, thyme, rosemary, mint
and oregano grow wild. Often, as you walk through a village
or along a path, you'll brush up against large rosemary or
thyme bushes and you can smell the scents of Provence.
The air is filled with the aroma of the herbs that grow in the
area. So naturally, these same herbs are gathered and
used in the mix that we call Herbes de Provence.
